WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus congratulates Nepal on rubella elimination success
Geneva, August 19 (Hibya) – World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus congratulated Nepal on its success in eliminating rubella.
Ghebreyesus, in a statement shared on social media, emphasized that this achievement is the result of determined efforts to protect public health against vaccine-preventable diseases.
In his remarks, Tedros thanked health workers, local communities, and the government of Nepal, expressing his appreciation for their commitment to the principle of “Health for All.”
