Costa: The EU firmly supports the Ukrainian people and Zelensky
Brussels, August 19 (Hibya) - President of the EU Council Antonio Costa announced that a video conference of the evaluation meeting with European Council members on Ukraine has started.
EU Council President Costa stated that the video conference with European Council members on Ukraine had begun.
Costa stressed that the EU firmly supports the Ukrainian people and the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, adding:
"As Ukraine continues to support efforts for a just and sustainable peace, this issue has been and will remain at the top of leaders' agendas in the coming weeks and months. Russia must, as a first step, immediately end the violence."
