Tsahkna: Yesterday in Washington, unity and unwavering support for Ukraine were demonstrated
Tallinn, August 19 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that yesterday in Washington, unity and unwavering support for Ukraine were demonstrated.
In his statement, Foreign Minister Tsahkna said: "Yesterday in Washington, unity and unwavering support for Ukraine were demonstrated, along with a shared understanding of the need for strong security guarantees."
At the same time, Tsahkna emphasized that the cost of aggression for Russia must be increased, noting that the EU’s 19th sanctions package and Ukraine’s swift progress in EU accession negotiations are of vital importance.
