Palestinian Foreign Ministry issues statement on Israel's occupation plans
Ramallah, August 19 (Hibya) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said it received with great concern the Israeli army's approval of plans to reoccupy the entire Gaza Strip, especially the entire historic city of Gaza.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said: "The Ministry calls for decisive international measures to stop the occupiers' war against the State of Palestine."
The statement stressed that the Ministry viewed with great concern the Israeli army’s approval of plans to reoccupy the entire Gaza Strip, particularly the historic city of Gaza. The statement further added:
"This situation will lead to the forced displacement of more than 900,000 Gazans to the south of the Strip and the destruction of the remaining neighborhoods, homes, and facilities in the city."
