Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani issued a statement regarding an incident that occurred in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Tajani expressed his deep sorrow over the incident, extending condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

Tajani announced that Italy's ambassador in Sarajevo had departed for Brčko, where the incident occurred, and stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would provide all necessary support.

Tajani said he was praying for the Italian personnel who had lost their lives or been injured while carrying out their duties.
