Sybiha: Ukraine must receive more air defense support
Kyiv, October 29 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said civilians had been killed and injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine, calling for increased pressure on Moscow and stronger air defense support for Ukraine.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that Russia had carried out attacks targeting civilians in the cities of Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv and Kremenchuk. Sybiha reported that at least 14 people were killed and 14 others injured in a drone attack on a railway platform in Dnipro while passengers were waiting for a train.
Sybiha said a passenger bus was targeted in Zaporizhzhia, leaving at least one person injured. He added that two 15-year-old girls were killed and 23 people injured in an attack on Chernihiv. In Kremenchuk, an attack on an apartment building killed at least three people and injured 19 others, including five children.
Arguing that the attacks were targeting civilians, Sybiha said steps such as easing sanctions, removing Russian oligarchs from sanctions lists and granting sanctions exemptions must be stopped.
Sybiha called for additional air defense support for Ukraine, increased pressure on Russia and decisive measures to disrupt the country's drone and missile production.
